Chapter 153 A Lighter Sentence
Mallory followed Arthur out of the hospital ward and closed the door behind her. She then crossed her arms in front of her chest.
She didn't say a word and simply coldly stared at him.
Her stare made Arthur feel rather diffident, causing him to awkwardly avoid her gaze.
Why hadn't she exposed his lie on the spot earlier? After all, Mallory was the one who had attended to Emily that day, so she must have seen Gabriel.
Naturally, Mallory understood Arthur's intentions. She knew that he had lied so that Emily would give up hope on Gabriel completely.

In a frigid and emotionless tone, she said, "This matter ends here. I won't tell her the truth, but don't you do that again either." She was warning Arthur and herself at the same time. This was the only time she was going to allow anyone to deceive Emily
