Chapter 296
Sebastian paused for a fraction of a second. Then, he loosened his grip on Vivienne's wrist slightly.
Before she could pull free from his hold, his lips came crashing down.
Vivienne instinctively tried to dodge, but Sebastian's hand clamped firmly around the back of her head, forcing her into the kiss.
Sebastian had never been the gentlest man, but he had never been this aggressive before.
The light overhead flickered, casting bursts of brilliance across his striking features, yet it was as if a heavy black haze shrouded his face, obscuring and distorting it.
Vivienne felt herself pushed back onto the bed behind her. The strangeness of it all only made her resist more fiercely.
Her defiance seemed to push him further over the edge. "Tell me. What exactly did you guys do in that car?"
His voice, his breath, and his accusations surrounded her, again and again, until they blurred together.
…
Outside, the sky had already begun to lighten.
Vivienne lay on the bed, utterly drained.
