Chapter 216 You Go First
When Dingo came to, a stabbing pain drilled through the back of his head. He lifted a hand on instinct, and his fingertips came away slick.
In the dim light, he opened his palm. It was blood.
He had been knocked out by a woman. The humiliation hit like a choke chain.
Dingo braced himself on the edge of the bed and staggered upright. His skull felt like it was splitting, his vision pulsing in and out.
He gripped the doorframe and lurched out into the hall.
The main room was still in chaos—dice clattering, men shouting, bottles crashing, the noise all mashed together into a deafening roar.
"Shut the hell up!"
Everything stopped at once, and every head snapped toward the doorway.
Dingo stood there with one hand clamped over his bleeding head, his face dark with murderous intent.
The men sobered up at once.
