The guy was freakishly strong—he dragged her off like she weighed nothing.
Alex was walking along when he suddenly looked back and realized she was gone. His face went pale in an instant, and he took off running, searching every corner of the parking lot.
“Boss lady?” he called out, panic clear in his voice. He ransacked the entire place but still couldn't find a trace of Delia Fleming.
Pulling out his phone, he called Curtis Stockton. “Boss, I'm sorry! I lost the boss lady!”
Whatever Curtis said on the other end had Alex snapping to attention, standing rigid like a soldier. “Yes, sir, I'm on it!”
After hanging up, he circled the parking lot again. Still no sign of her. Frustrated, he jumped back into the elevator, heading up to check on Cassandra Tate’s room, hoping maybe she'd gone there.
As the elevator doors slid shut, a man with a face mask narrowed his eyes and pulled Delia out from the backseat of an old, beat-up car. His eyes roamed over her face, creepy and full of lust.
