Chapter 59 Some Sort of Shady Deal Going On
Leona's POV
I had a bad feeling about the sudden change in Susan's attitude, but I had no time to contemplate.
I could feel Nina's hand trembling. Blood trickled down from her forehead. She needed immediate medical attention.
"Thanks, I guess. Anything else? If not, we will leave," I said indifferently.
"What's with that attitude of yours? Susan has forgiven you for your lack of manners. Shouldn't you thank her?" Eamon lambasted me with a frown when he heard my indifferent reply.
His reaction confirmed my assumption that neither he nor Susan planned to let us leave unscathed.
I slowly pushed Nina's hand away and signaled to her to take a seat.
After sweeping a cold gaze over them, I decided I'd had enough. I wouldn't hold back anymore.
"What should I be thanking Susan for? For having someone dump iced coffee on me? Or for letting me eat her leftovers?
"You must really enjoy eating scraps, or you wouldn't have asked me to thank her. In that case, why don't you enjoy this ‘feast
