Chapter 100 Get the Hell Out
Leona's POV
Nina ran over to us, huffing and puffing. She knew something was wrong from the scowl on our faces.
She stood between me and Martin. "I told Eva I wanted to share a room with Sarah, and Eva agreed to it!"
"So what? I'm in charge of assigning the living quarters. No waitress has ever shared a room with a hostess at Kanam!" Martin countered, his voice faltering out of guilt.
"Let's talk to Eva, then!"
Nina shot a glance at that dilapidated room. Anger colored her cheeks. "A few servers died in this room. That's why Mr. Malton shut it down! This place is not fit for living. You're giving Sarah a difficult time on purpose!"
Only then did I realize this wasn't merely a storage room. It had once been a living space—one where several employees had met their end. The most recent death was discovered more than a week later, the body found in a greatly decomposed state.
