Chapter 267
Henry Hawthorne was momentarily stunned, staring blankly before blurting out, “Where are you?”
That accident six months ago—Violet Jordan had vanished in the chaos. Not even Edward Hawthorne, nor he and Lydia Moore, had been able to find a trace of her.
And now? She just popped up out of nowhere?
Violet’s voice came quickly through the phone, “I’ll send you the address. Come find me now.”
Her voice sounded weak, strained, with noise in the background that sounded suspiciously like a hospital.
Henry couldn’t catch it all. He raised his voice, asking, “What did you just say?”
“Come. Find me. Now!”
Then the call cut off.
Henry immediately tried to call back, but the phone just rang and rang. No one picked up.
Right as he was about to explode in frustration, a new message popped up on his screen.
Tianlong Town, Central Hospital.
Clutching his phone, Henry grabbed his car keys and bolted out the door.
...
Tianlong Town was a tiny speck on the map, about a three-hour drive from the Capital.
